The photo from 1975 were scanned from old Kodachrome slides. I have slightly larger versions; but the colour and contrast as seen here are as good as I can make them. The dates selected are generally reasonable guesses based on mementos, flight dates and memories.

In the spring of 2000 I did another round-the-world trip. Many of the photos from that year have been resized larger from smaller low-resolution formats. All were taken with an Olympus digital camera.

A few Hong Kong and China photos were taken during stopovers in 2018 and 2019 with a modern digital camera.

 Asia: India to Turkey 1975
These photos were taken in Northern India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey during my round-the-world trip in 1975. I travelled overland by train from Calcutta to Varanasi, Delhi, Agra and then on to Lahore Pakistan. I traversed Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey by bus.
